March 2016 - This month, I am a GRATEFUL mom.
The Challenge: Each month I’ll choose one characteristic I want to build upon to help me be the best mom I can be. I will determine four goals to help me carve that path, and I’ll report back on my successes and (undoubted) failures, too. In March, my theme is GRATEFUL.
March Goals:
1. Read a relevant, popular book on the subject and start taking action as I read. March Pick (affiliate link): Attitudes of Gratitude
3. Try one new activity that may help me accomplish my goal. March activity: Do something special to say thank you to the people I love. I’m thinking baked goodies and heartfelt thank you notes, but if I come up with other creative ideas, I’ll try those too!
4. Determine how I will involve the husband and kids so it’s a family experience, or at least, family benefit. March plan: My son can help me cook treats for others. Maybe it will teach him the joy of giving and sharing with others? Or maybe it’s a meltdown waiting to happen. We’ll see! Also, I’ll talk to my husband about things we’re grateful for. Most of the time we communicate our needs and wants. Rarely do we just relax and appreciate all we have, and our amazing blessings.

Oh, and follow my progress on my Facebook page!
Good plan- I need to work on that too!
