This bedside alarm clock features fun animations that give it personality! The convenient nap timer and dual night light that glows green to tell children it’s OK to get out of bed make this alarm clock a must-have for families with young children! My two year old loves it and eagerly waits for “wake up time” so he can see his little bug light up. This is a bedtime victory!

Echo - Smart speaker with Alexa

Echo connects to Alexa to play music, make calls, set music alarms and timers, ask questions, control smart home devices, and more—instantly.
The whole family loves our Echo. “Alexa, play Baby Shark! Alexa, what’s the weather going to be like today? Alexa, why does the Earth rotate around the sun?” We get such a kick out of our Echo, I can’t recommend it enough.

Up (DVD)

Both my husband and I were eager to show our kids this classic movie with so many teaching moments. We love talking to the boys about being kind to animals, respecting our elders, and finding friendship anywhere and everywhere. I don’t care how much you like your wine. Tellin I don’t care how much you like your wine. Telling moms on the brink that all they need is some wine to self medicate is dangerous and not helpful.
Let’s change the narrative.
Moms NEED a lot of things right now. Changes in legislation. Support in the work environment. Help from the community. Time to focus!
During my greatest struggles, using alcohol to cop During my greatest struggles, using alcohol to cope was always my Plan A.
Relationship issues, tragedy, and in parenting, not only was it my go-to, it was often the first thing people recommended or encouraged. Drink through the divorce, drink through the hard day with the kids.
When my father died, one of my best friends said she went to three different gift basket companies before she could find a bereavement basket that didn’t include wine in it.
But the science doesn’t lie.

One thing that bothers me is when people post they One thing that bothers me is when people post they quit drinking, but “not because I had a drinking problem.”
The benefits of sobriety are endless: improved sleep, decreased cancer risk, improved quality of life, more money in the bank. I can understand how anyone would desire to stop drinking whether they were drinking one drink a week or dozens.
But when you add your reasons for sobriety specifically do not include a drinking problem, you slide a wedge between yourself and anyone who might in fact struggle with a problem. You “other” those of us who did or do see drinking as a problem.
It would be like me saying I go to the gym “but not because I have a weight problem.” So because someone else goes to the gym because of a weight problem they are somehow less? Other? Something to be ashamed of?
I think my favorite reason for sobriety is for the person who says they don’t know if they had a drinking problem. I think that’s about as honest of an answer as it gets.
But if you are in that very small percentage of people who got sober simply because you wanted to or had no desire to continue? Just say that. Don’t ‘other’ the rest of us who did in fact struggle with a drinking problem.
It hurts. It isolates. And it low-key shames. And sobriety should be about celebration, not categorization. Someone’s reason for getting sober does not classify them as better than or less than anyone else 💯

I chose alcohol over things and people for a long, I chose alcohol over things and people for a long, long time.
I will not choose it over my kids. I will not miss another moment to a fuzzy head, a nasty hangover, or a desperate overpour. Not another “just one more.” Not today, and God willing, not tomorrow either.

Moms can be grateful and still be exhausted.

Moms can value their family and still complain that it's just so hard.

Moms can be good, loving, caring parents, and still struggle with anxiety and depression.

Moms can choose to have kids and still gripe about how their kids behave.

Moms can have feelings, ALL THE FEELINGS, and should not have to worry about judgment, shame, or stigma.

Moms are allowed to have feelings. Even the uncomfortable feelings. Especially the uncomfortable ones.

Drop a ❤️ if you agree!
